Tunnels and Tents

Stephen's Christmas Break ended earlier than the rest of us with soccer practice starting.  That left me and the boys stuck inside with lots of energy.  I pulled out the play tunnels and tents and the boys went to town.  Cody LOVED them!

It took him a minute to learn how to crawl through; the material kept making him slip and lose his balance.

NYE 2015

We continued our NYE tradition this year with the Wichets and McKinneys.  For the first time in 6 years, no one was pregnant!  We thought about going out on the town, but since everyone is on a budget, we ditched the kiddos for the night and went out to dinner.  We went to The Whiskey Cake, a local, super fun restaurant.

We were so proud of Seana, she ate onion dip and goat cheese fondue!
Our table, Happy New Years!

Stephen and I were more than worn out from our crazy day of airport delays the day before.  We were big time party poopers and went home after dinner to cuddle up on the couch and watch the ball drop. We let Jake stay up and watch NYE from Times Square (he was super bummed to miss the party.)  I'm not going to lie, I dozed off waiting for 11:00 to come.  We celebrated on East coast time and for the first time in as long as I can remember, we were asleep at midnight!  We will definitely make up for it next year!

Here are some Tyler family silly faces as we tried to stay awake until the ball dropped
