First Snow of 2011

Last weekend we had our first snow of 2011! I am always excited to see snow! For this Chicago girl, we just don't get enough of it in Texas. It was just starting to fall when Jake went down for his nap and I kept my fingers crossed that he would wake up in time to see it falling, which he did. As soon as he had his snack, we were outside for some snow fun!

Jake wasn't too sure about the snow at first, but as soon as we got out in it, he was all about it!

He didn't want to stand still long enough to pose for a picture, this is one of the best ones I got.

Most of the time he was off, trying to run in the snow.

He really wanted to swing, but it was full of snow.

After we had explored the backyard, we made our way to the front to build a snowman.

I put Daisy back inside because she kept taking off for the neighbor's yard. Jake was trying to bust her out :)
