Easter Egg Hunt

On Saturday, Jake got to go to his first Easter Egg Hunt at the park in our neighborhood. Grandma and Grandpa Perkowski and our good friends Chad, Heather, and Tyler McKinney all came too.

Here are the boys as we waited to check in...they are such good buddies!

happy boy!

Our first official Easter Bunny picture:
he wasn't too sure about it, but he didn't cry either

Chad and Heather are both great photographers so we got some fun shots of the family during the day! Thanks guys!

Next up, the Easter Egg Hunt, the boys got to be in the 3 and under group. They kept making announcements regarding parents letting the kids just have fun and for parents not to pick up eggs, etc. We were all thinking...seriously, who would do that? Well, when they said "go!" you would have thought those eggs were made of gold! We both had to fight for the boys to get just one egg, crazy parents!

of course Jake would pass the time by chewing on his basket

When they 'hunt' finally started, Jake did really good picking up his egg. Stephen did a good job of standing guard so that the other parents didn't grab it from him!

I got one!

Jake had lots of fun playing with his egg afterwards. He kept holding it up saying "yay" and clapping with it, too cute! Check out his hair going all over the place! Definitely time for that first hair cut!

Then the Tyler and Jake started playing together with the egg, which was too cute to watch.
wanna wrestle for the egg?
Jake kept 'falling' on it so Tyler couldn't get it, just like a football player on the ball at the bottom of a pile...Daddy was very proud!
Then, Jake decided to try the 'if I lick it, you won't want it' trick
want it now buddy?

They also had a petting zoo, so Stephen took Jake inside to look around. They had goats, chickens, ducks, and rabbits.

As we were leaving, there wasn't a line for the Easter Bunny so we asked if we could do a shot of the boys together and got some cute pictures!
this time Jake smiled...probably because his buddy, Tyler, was there with him
Then, Jake decide to see who the Easter Bunny really was! I love this pic because it looks like Tyler is trying to stop him!
We had a fun afternoon with family and friends!
