Man on the Move

Whew, I am one worn out Mommy! Jake is still a beginner crawler, but today he started connecting some more of the dots and realized that he can crawl further and further, especially if he is after something he wants...which the past 2 days has been me! I think seperation anxiety is in full force, plus Stephen has been working a lot, but holy cow he's been a stage 5 clinger lately! He's also pulling up to standing on everything! The couch, entertainment center, me! It's definitely a new experience to be trying to get dinner together and all of a sudden Jake is trying to pull up on my pants! As exhausting as it is, it is fun watching him explore and get into all sorts of fun!

on the move

this morning he was tossing his piano all over the place and using it to 'walk' on his knees all over the living room

and since he moved some of his toys out of the way...he could get to the entertainment center, he was up to standing shortly there after

and then he sat down and hung out by his toy basket for about 15 minutes, getting every last toy out to play with

this one's just cute so i had to put it in

Hurricane Jake...this was my living room when I came downstairs tonight after putting Jake to sleep!

One of his favorite things to pull up on is his music table, and he likes to take it for a cruise around the living room. (he was doing 'laps' around it, but stopped as soon as I got the camera out of course!)

And here he is pulling up on me

okay, this one is long so it's probably only interesting for the grandparents :) but it shows another new thing he's been doing, which is playing in the kneeling position. he rarely sits on his bottom anymore when he is playing...he's up on his knees or standing as soon as he can
