New Years Eve

Our NYE tradition the past 5 years, is a low key night with 3 other families:  the Wicherts, McKinneys, and Owens.  This year, we volunteered to host at our house.  Everyone, well, everyone except the Owen family, came over after dinner.  We were missing our sweet friends who moved to California earlier in the spring!  We had snacks, drinks, the kids played, and the grown ups got to hand out.  It was a great night, everyone except baby Seth made it to midnight!

The kiddos had lots of fun playing together.  We had two 4 yr olds, Jake and Tyler.  Two almost 3 year olds:  Kacie and Grayson.  And sweet baby Seth Austin, 5 months old.

The older boys were bowling on the wii
Jake played guitar and Tyler sang songs.

snack time for Kacie and Grayson

Kacie was ALL about baby Seth...she gets that love for babies from her Mama!

Kacie used the fireplace, sorry, stage, to put on a show for us

All the kiddos:  Grayson, Jake, Seth Austin, Kacie, and Tyler

Then it was the grown ups turn for pictures.  Thank you Chad for bringing your camera and taking pics for us all night!

Then it was time to get silly
 A classic!
The kids then insisted they needed one with hats too...but it was much harder getting them all together for this photo opp!

Cheers to the New Year!

We are so excited for 2014!!!!
We are all officially old, because as soon as the midnight toasts were over, everyone was out the door and we were in bed :)  Maybe next year, the grown ups will get to go out for a real NYE...one of us girls has been pregnant every year since 2008...so maybe, just maybe next year no will be :)

Jake was up bright and early the next morning, thanks so much sweet boy!  We made our way to IHOP for some pancakes to start the new year.  I didn't get a before picture, but he ordered the cutest smiley face chocolate chip pancakes, which he loved!

We are so excited for 2014 and becoming a family of 4!!!!
