I'm not going to lie, the 5th birthday has been a little tough for this Mama! I asked him if he would please stop having birthdays now, but in true Jake fashion he told me 'No' and asked if he could be 7 now!

Instead of me writing down my observation of all of Jake's favorites, I did an interview with him on his birthday. So here is Jake at 5 in his own words :)
How old are you? 5
Who are your best friends? Cody, Daddy, Mommy, Esther, and Caleb
What is your favorite thing to do? Ride my bike, go fishing, play trains, cuddle with Daddy, and playing in the summer, fall, and spring
What is your favorite color? orange and red and blue and green and white and then um...yellow
What is your favorite food? Macaroni and cheese and pizza
What do you like to do with your family? Plant together and watch TV shows together
What is your favorite toy? my airplanes...make sure there is an 's' airplaneS
What do you want to be when you grow up? President of the USA
What makes you happy? Dad
What makes you sad? When you don't play with me and all the attention is on Cody
What is your favorite show to watch? Sheriff Callie, Lucky Duck, How to Train Your Dragon, American Ninja Warrior
What is your favorite book? Oh this is going to be a tough one! Pete the Cat and Green Eggs & Ham...you know what books I like Mom!
What do you love to learn about? Vanishing
Where do you like to go? I can't tell which is first between Chinese Buffet, Jason's Deli, and Cici's Pizza----it's a tie!
Who was your teacher? Ms. Rebecca
What is your favorite treat? Oh! It's all of them! No matter what kind!
What do you think about before you fall asleep? My bad dream from a long time ago.
If you could meet someone famous who would it be? Ms. Irene (a teacher from school)
What was your favorite birthday present? Ninja Turtles
What is your favorite song? Give me a J....J-E-S-U-S
What is your favorite drink? Orange pineapple juice
What is your favorite food for breakfast? Golden Grahams and Lucky Charms (for the record he gets to pick out one sweet cereal for his birthday each year...that and Christmas are the only time we buy them. They are not his everyday breakfast!)
What is your favorite snack? pretzels and fruit snacks
What is your favorite game? The one at Chuck E Cheese where I won the jackpot!
What is your favorite outfit? My Tony Romo jersey
Where is your favorite place to go on vacation? Branson, Missouri
Who is your favorite person? Grandma
What are you good at? The javelin throw on Wii Olympics
If you had $1000, what would you buy? a new toy for Daddy
Who is your hero? Daddy, because he's not old!
What do you want for your next birthday? Get another baby (And for the record, he will be very disappointed!)
