Sneak Peek

I can hardly believe it, but my 'baby' is off to Kindergarten this year!  Jake is going to Wyatt Elementary in Plano ISD.  We used Stephen's Plano ISD employee status to have him transferred to a school in the Plano West cluster.  Wyatt is a fantastic school and we are very excited that he will be going there.  One of the football player's moms is a teacher there and has been our guardian angel at Wyatt :)  She got Jake put in Mrs. Brewton's class, who is an amazing  teacher.  We know is he going to love being a Wyatt Walleroo.

The Thursday before school started was Sneak Peek at Wyatt.  We got to go meet his teacher and see his classroom.  We were excited to see a few familiar faces from our Kindergarten playdates over the summer.

Here is Jake's room (sorry the pics are a little blurry, Cody was asleep in his baby carrier and it made for awkward picture taking)

He has his own locker inside his classroom
Finding his supply cubby
I seriously don't know what is up with this pose
And finding his towel cubby (They have towels to rest on for the first few months of school.)
Exploring the big center area off of his classroom.
The entrance to his room.  The way the school is layed out, each grade level has a cluster with a wing for each classroom so there aren't individual doors to each room, just the grade levels.
Entering the Kindergarten area
Wyatt has a 'superhero' theme this year so there were characters everywhere that Jake loved....Spiderman, Superman, Batman, The Incredibles, etc.  The school looks so great!

Traditional picture by the school marquee...I went ahead and got that out of the way, I knew it would be too crazy on the first day of school.  Fyi, this is his superhero pose.
And a normal pose
We are so excited for Kindergarten!
