Update on the Great Wall of Tyler...it is still standing, HOWEVER, Jake still has not given up trying to break through it on a daily basis. The playyard is long enough that he can push it and it will move about 4 feet into the kitchen. He can get right next to his target, but still can't touch it...which makes him very frustrated!
soooo close to the water bowl, yet so far
Okay these pictures just crack me up! Jake took a very short nap this day. He was still tired, yet refused to go back down...leaving him in an ever so wonderful mood. We changed his diaper, but could not get his shorts back on him. And he was hungry! So Daddy set him up, relaxin' on the chair watching Elmo, with a pile of cheerios on his tummy. Oh my!
he's going to love this one when he is 15
And who can get enough messy face pictures? Jake is definitely going through a growth spurt right now, he has done nothing but eat for the past 2 days. Last night he was chowing down on a pasta casserole I made. It was EVERYWHERE, even down his shirt!
One of Jake's new skills is putting his shapes in his shape sorter ball. It is one of his favorite things to do now. He brings the ball to us and holds it out and signs 'more,' meaning he wants us to take the blocks out so he can play. He loves to clap for himself after each shape. He can do pretty much every shape on his own, we just have to show him which hole they go in. The star, cross, and triangle, give him a little trouble still.
